Hr Compliance Specialist

Masis Professional Group is assisting our client in searching for an HR Compliance Specialist in Westborough MA . Position is for a 6-month contract position and client is open to a hybrid schedule. Candidates need to have experience with ADA accommodations, background checks and related adjudications, unemployment claims, and related. Salary: Compensation is based on experience. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm (flexible and client open to hybrid as needed) Duties and Responsibilities: Process ADA accommodation requests, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations (multistate). Adjudicate background checks, conducting thorough reviews and making informed decisions. Manage unemployment claims, providing necessary documentation and representing the company in hearings if required. Conduct internal audits and investigations to identify and address compliance issues. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities. Stay updated on employment law changes and industry best practices. Experience and Educational Requirements: 3+ years of experience in human resources compliance or a similar role. Strong understanding of ADA, FMLA, and other employment laws. Experience with handling background checks and adjudications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
