The HR Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the People department with administrative tasks, employee relations, and recruitment initiatives. This individual will serve as a liaison between employees and management, ensuring smooth HR operations in alignment with our company's goals and culture. 
\n Duties and Responsibilities HR Administration: Maintain and update employee records in HR systems and ensure compliance with legal standards. Process employee benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations. Manage payroll inputs, timekeeping, and attendance tracking in coordination with People Ops Director. Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for various roles in construction and administrative teams. Coordinate onboarding processes to ensure a seamless start for new employees. Prepare and distribute offer letters, contracts, and onboarding documents. Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and workplace concerns. Assist with employee engagement initiatives and company-wide events. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies. Prepare HR reports, including headcount, turnover, and other metrics, for management review. Support audits and compliance reviews as required. Training & Development: Coordinate training sessions for employees, focusing on compliance, safety, and professional development. Track training completion and assist in developing future training strategies.  Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably within the construction, engineering, or related industries. Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and employment regulations. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and payroll software. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.  Preferred Qualifications Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Familiarity with OSHA and safety compliance in construction. Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus.  What we offer Opportunity to join an outstanding start-up team and grow a company from the ground up. Competitive salary package. Medical/dental/vision benefits. Equity in the company.
