As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting our employees and ensuring our HR initiatives run smoothly. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with a broad range of HR functions, including onboarding, benefits, compliance and recruitment. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment and has an understanding of HR best practices, employment laws and business acumen. This position is based in our Walnut Creek Corporate Office, and a hybrid work arrangement is available.
\n Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for general employee inquiries, addressing and triaging questions related to benefits and HR policies.Administer and update employee files to ensure compliance Respond to routine requests for information and verifications of employmentTrack and assist with the administration of performance evaluationsAssist with posting of required notices and ensure compliance across all organizational locationsSupport I-9 documentation, including verification, updates, and complianceHelp coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes in partnership with HR, Office Managers, Administrative and IT teams.Prepare data analytics for HR department, create reports / presentation of findings.Assist offices with EEO and other HR related proposal requestsProvide back-up support to the Recruiting Team during busy recruiting periodsHandle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and in line with data protection standards.Assist the HR team with various ongoing tasks and special projects as needed Qualifications College degree and 2+ years of relevant HR experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Familiarity with HR laws, regulations, and recruiting practices Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to collaborate and influence Ability to manage priorities and workflow Creativity and flexibility Motivation to be an innovator, offering ideas to streamline and improve our existing programs and processes Commitment to excellence and strong attention to detail Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS systems. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Teams and SharePoint are a plus) and capable of adapting to new software systems
