What You'll Do: In this multifaceted role, you'll be the go-to resource for our team members, providing expertise in all things HR! Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: • Collaborating with managers to enhance performance management processes, guiding them in coaching, corrective actions, and assessments. • Engaging in key conversations during disciplinary meetings, partner up with our Head of People and Legal to conduct workplace investigations. • Identifying trends and consulting with management to foster employee relations and promote an uplifting work culture through fun employee engagement initiatives, including celebrations and volunteer programs. • Streamlining the hiring and termination processes while keeping all personnel records fresh and accurate. You'll even get to conduct insightful exit interviews! • Teaming up with HR resources across our New Jersey and Midwest locations to educate team members about a range of employee benefits. • Bringing your expertise to leave of absence administration, workers' compensation, and unemployment—working diligently to ensure compliance and support for our team members. • Interpreting and communicating policies with the VP and Head of People to uphold compliance with the necessary employment laws. • Partnering with our Talent Acquisition team to create a seamless onboarding experience for new hires. • Coordinating development programs to support our team in their career growth. • Being the friendly HR resource everyone can count on for guidance and support — truly embodying our commitment to people! • Assisting with exciting special projects that drive our business forward! Who You Are: You're an HR professional with a sense of adventure and a proven track record of over 5 years in HR generalist roles. You hold a Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field, and thrive in a fast-paced environment filled with enthusiasm. Your skills and qualities include: • Strong interpersonal communication and creative problem-solving abilities that allow you to build lasting relationships. • The knack for conflict resolution and decision-making with a talent for fostering collaboration at all levels. • Exceptional organization and time management skills that showcase your ability to prioritize effectively. • A natural empathetic leader who acts with integrity and professionalism in all interactions. • Proficiency in MS Office and a solid understanding of employment laws and regulations.
