The HR Generalist is responsible for providing a wide range of human resource services including, but not limited to, recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, training, payroll, benefits administration, and compliance. The HR Generalist will ensure that all personnel records are kept up-to-date and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Maintaining and updating employee records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other HR systems. Performing routine tasks related to open enrollment process, new hire orientations, background checks, drug screening, and new hire paperwork. Monitoring and administering leaves of absence, including FMLA. Conducting recruitment activities, including job postings, interviewing, and coordinating the onboarding process. Serving as the Training Coordinator for all employees. Actively participating in the Safety Committee meetings. Analyzing, solving, and resolving complex HR issues. Administering payroll and benefits programs. Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. 1+ years of HR generalist experience Strong technical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Superior analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Outstanding planning and organizational skills. High degree of dependability, professionalism, and ethical behavior. Benefits Hourly rate: $21-$26/hr with opportunity for OT Excellent Benefit Package Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. Flexible Spending Account Life, AD&D and LTD Insurance. Paid Holidays-10 paid holidays per year. Paid Time Off-20 days per year, prorated based on month hired. 401K Retirement Plan.
