Job Description:
We are looking for a hands-on HR Manager to manage the HR team that supports oilfield operations and its employees. Job duties additionally include providing support to our leadership team and HR Director. This position is located in corporate office and some travel may be required. The ideal candidate should have strong communication (verbal and written), attention to detail, management skills, adaptability, high energy, time management (able to handle high volume in fast pace environment), critical thinking, sound judgement, and be exceptional organized. Managing HR team which includes but is not limited to checking work for quality/accuracy, professional output, time management, support, training, development, corrective action up to and including termination.Assisting with hiring decisions/recruiting efforts with the teamSpecial projectsBecome the expert in DOT compliance as it relates HR - drug and alcohol testing and driver qualification filesRevising, improving processes or forms as requiredResearching Enforcing complianceLeading the HR team in setting the bar high with professionalism, output, communication, leadership, etc.Communicating company updates, changes to assigned staffTaking lead on sensitive or more challenging investigations or terminationsPartnering with operations on employee issues and concernsAssist with employee disciplinary action and terminations, as neededBeing cross trained on all aspects of HR positions to fill in as neededAssist HR DirectorAttend corporate meetingsTravel as neededOther duties and projects as assignedRequirements:
