Job Overview: The HR Manager role in Ontario, CA, is integral to our client's organization, focusing on enhancing the workforce's capabilities and quality of life.
This position ensures that HR strategies align with organizational goals, leading and coaching the HR team to deliver excellence across various HR functions.

Key Responsibilities: Ensure the HR strategy aligns with organizational goals and communicate it regularly to gain support from stakeholders.
Collaborate with Senior Business Partners to understand and address current and future business needs.
Lead and coach the HR team in talent acquisition, leadership development, benefits, compensation planning, policy setting, performance evaluations, payroll, employee relations, labor relations, HRIS, and engagement.
Develop synergies across all divisions to improve reporting, control, and cost impact.
Establish and document HR-related policies and procedures for consistency and compliance.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement in HR administration, deliverables, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
Provide leadership on labor and employee relations issues and work collaboratively with legal on contracts and employment-related issues.
Manage and protect confidential data per Confidentiality and Privacy Standards and HIPPA.
Handle special projects and assignments as dictated by business needs.
Requirements include: Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Master's degree preferred.
Experience: 10+ years as a proven Human Resource Leader.
Experience with labor unions preferred.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience with Paycom (HRIS) is a plus.
Skills: Strong technical experience and understanding of best practices in HR.
Strong operational and organizational discipline.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Certifications: PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
Knowledge: Current knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
Strong understanding of cost structures and financial results.
High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidential data.

Ability to develop strong relationships with employees and management.
