Hr Technology Procurement Manager-Senior Vice President

The HR technology Procurement Manager is an individual contributor, senior level position, responsible for leading procurement activities such as the negotiation of price, contractual terms, analyzing comparable suppliers and agreeing on contracts in coordination with Learning & Culture, Recruitment, Global Functions Technology and other key HR stakeholders. The overall objective of this role is to acquire technology services requested by company personnel in support of the company's business.

Responsibilities:
This role is a key appointment within the HR Services Procurement team. The role will be responsible for liaising with the various global HR category leads on the team and their key stakeholders and taking ownership and delivering on their technology sourcing requirements.
The successful candidate will need to be a strong team player both within the HR Services Procurement team and across the Procurement function. They will need to have skills in working with various stakeholders and delivering effective results while maintaining strong relationships.
Technology Procurement skills are a key component of this role and the ability to analyze and assess vendor contracts from a strategic perspective with a view to reducing license numbers and improving SLAs will be advantageous. Knowledge of the various contractual terms specific to Technology Contracts is an important aspect of the role.
Developing sourcing strategies that align with business and organizational goals, execution against these strategies, developing sourcing plans with business stakeholders, and establishing a reputation within the sourcing organization and business units as a trusted expert will be skills that the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate.
Manage and maintain contract and commercial terms with existing regional and global suppliers focused on reducing franchise risk and achieving market commercial terms to reduce total cost of ownership across multiple Citi Business Units
Interact with all levels of management including senior and executive management from various internal/external businesses and suppliers.
Serve as a sourcing and end-to-end supply chain Subject Matter Expert (SME) through bringing valuable market insight to supported business units, influencing decisions around sourcing strategy and supplier selection, and leading the negotiation and contracting process for product acquisition.
Work with Sourcing Leads from multiple geographies to coordinate sourcing activities and support the development of global consolidation of HR technology contracts and services.
Analyze business processes to decide on opportunities achieved through influencing supply and demand of services as well as analyze supplier proposals, structure, and negotiate supply agreements and manage supplier relations and performance.
Identify and drive cost reduction, supplier consolidation, service delivery improvements, process efficiencies, risk mitigation, and standardization across Citi's businesses.
Build and maintain relationship with business unit stakeholders to promote and expand procurement influence around technology Sourcing.
Contribute to all process and system enhancements.
Report on category trends and best practices driving best-in-class purchasing practices including application category management, preferred systems, tools, and techniques in a timely manner as well as maintain up to date and accurate system records
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications
10+ years of relevant experience
Certified Purchase Professional such as CPM or CIPS preferred
Experience in Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, and Procurement
Contract and Vendor Management Experience
Advanced computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office and Excel
Demonstrated success in achieving savings goals and other performance metrics
Demonstrated relationship management, influencing, negotiation, and persuasion skills
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

$130,880.00 - $196,320.00
