Your Next Adventure: HRT Assistant REPORTS TO: BHRT Assist Manager
CLASSIFICATION: Part-time, non-exempt (20+ hours a week) Potential for Full-time
SCHEDULE: Monday - Tuesday, 6:50am - 3:00pm, some later hours required for internal meetings and training.
LOCATION: Greenbrae, and San Francisco (when coverage is needed) CA


POSITION SUMMARY: The BHRT (Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy) Assistant is an integral role in promoting an exemplary member experience and outcomes by working under the direction of a licensed clinician (nurse practitioner/physician assistant), to facilitate a seamless operation of our BHRT services and enhancing the patient experience. This role is vital in managing the pre-clinic, clinic, and post-clinic tasks, ensuring all processes are executed efficiently, promote individualized products, and retain members by creating a great JumpstartMD experience and optimizing members' health and wellness outcomes.
1. Pre-Clinic Preparation: Verify patient paperwork, including Health History Questionnaire (HHQ) and Patient Agreement (PA), ensuring all documents are completed prior to appointments.Review and manage memberships and payments.Check and prepare lab reports, ensuring all necessary results are available for review.2. Clinic Operations: Greet and check-in patients, and coordinate with clinicians on patient arrival and readiness.Assist with the preparation of medical instruments for pellet insertion procedures and maintain sterile techniques.Conduct InBody scans and record vital signs as required, following specific guidelines based on the patient's therapy and membership status.Manage and document patient interactions, including the administration of vitamin therapy injections and the setup and cleanup of examination rooms.Ensure all supplies, including germicide and distilled water containers, are clean and ready for use.3. Patient Follow-up and Communication: Schedule follow-up visits, ensuring timely reminders and coordination with patient schedules.Provide clear communication to patients regarding their therapy plan, lab due dates, and any membership policies.Monitor patient adherence to pending lab orders.Appropriately triage and facilitate medication refill requests and inquiries from pharmacies.4. Inventory and Supplies Management: Monitor and manage medical supplies and pellet inventory, placing orders as needed while minimizing waste.5. Post-Clinic Duties: Finalize patient records and ensure all data is accurately entered into the system and all applicable fees have been charged.Manage autoclave maintenance and operation.EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma requiredExperience in a clinical support role, preferably in hormone replacement therapy or a similar field. Medical assisting background preferred.1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a medical or clinical office setting.Proficient in MS Office 365 and experience with EMR/EHR systems.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Strong multitasking abilities and ability to work efficiently with minimal errors.Demonstrates high ownership, accountability, and initiative.Flexible team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in an intimate clinical setting.Why JumpstartMD?
