Primoris Q3 Contracting business unit is searching for an HSE Compliance Coordinator to support HSE Operations in our Little Canada, MN area.
JOB OVERVIEW: HSE Development Specialist will research and write training content ensuring operational compliance with regulatory requirements and conformance to internal standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: HSE Research & Development Writing compliance content for Operations as requested SDS database administration Cover for HSE Compliance Coordinator during their infrequent absence Developing, reviewing, and revolutionizing HSE training content Developing HSE training toggle content & analyzing participation Presenting HSE training content Developing annual HSE survey, track and analyze feedback FastField JHA maintenance Various Train-the-Trainer roles Creating training videos and uploading to websites Review and update HSE policies as needed Update Foreman's Manual Additional duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Occupational Health & Safety degree, BCSP certification Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner Ability to multitask and prioritize Ability to communicate efficiently, respectfully, and professionally Advanced writing skills Respond promptly to operations and customer HSE requests Ability to maintain confidentiality Follow PSC policies and procedures Ability to consistently meet or exceed deadlines Ability to handle change or unexpected events Demonstrate maturity and foster a positive attitude amongst fellow employees Able to travel up to 10% (subject to change). Knowledge of HSE-related legislation, relevant Acts, Regulations, Standards, industry recommended practices, procedures, and management systems. Knowledge of telecommunications and construction industry practices, policies, and procedures. Knowledge of risk management principles. Knowledge of training and learning principles. Skill in verbal and written communication. Skill in using computers and related software applications. Skill in handling multiple tasks and prioritizing. Skill in identifying HSE risk, hazards and trends Skill in developing and facilitating training sessions and delivering presentations. Ability to work with frequent interruptions and changes in priorities. Ability to deliver effective presentations and training in-person and in a virtual setting. Ability to establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with employees, agency representatives, and the public.
