We are searching for a qualified part-time HR assistant to provide administrative support to our Human Resources department.
Reporting to the HR manager, the assistant will help with payroll, recruiting, scheduling, and training tasks.

Objectives of this role
Provide administrative support to our entire HR departmentServe as a reliable source of information for employees, promptly answering questions regarding payroll and benefitsEnsure that all employees feel safe and cared for at our company by addressing complaints promptly and professionallyRecruit and hire strong candidates who will positively impact our company, and coordinate the training they need to succeed in their roles
Responsibilities
Assist with recruiting tasks such as reviewing resumes, conducting and scheduling interviews, hiring, and following up with candidatesSchedule and coordinate onboarding assignments and training sessionsCompile and process employee documentation and records, and keep the employee database up to dateMaintain the departmental email account, responding to employee questions and complaints in a timely and professional mannerTrack employee attendance, PTO, and leaves, and assist with payroll processing and documentation
Skills and qualifications
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong attention to detailProficiency in administrative duties such as communications, data entry, and record keepingEnthusiasm for working within a team environmentTact and professionalism when it comes to handling confidential information and addressing employee concernsProficiency with technology, and the ability to pick up new software easily
