Job Title: Entry-Level HR Assistant Benefits & Leave Support (Contract)
Location: Catonsville, MD (Fully Onsite)

Pay: $23-$26/hour
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused HR Assistant to support our Benefits and Leave department in a fully onsite, contract role through January 31st, 2025.
In this entry-level position, you will play a crucial role in handling administrative tasks and providing support to employees, mainly focusing on answering calls, distributing paperwork, and performing various clerical duties.
This role requires strong organizational skills and a professional, approachable demeanor.
Key Responsibilities Answer and direct incoming calls related to benefits, leave, and general HR inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
Prepare, send, and track benefits and leave paperwork to employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Organize and maintain accurate records of leave requests, benefits documents, and other HR-related paperwork.
Provide administrative support to the Benefits and Leave department, including data entry, filing, and document management.
Coordinate with HR team members to ensure employee inquiries are resolved promptly.
Assist with other administrative duties as needed to support the HR department.
Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required; coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, with a customer-service-oriented approach.
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Additional Information This is a fully onsite role located in Catonsville, MD.
We are looking for someone who can start immediately and commit through the end of January 2025.
