Human Resources Business Analyst - Hybrid 2-3 days on site at Silver Cross Hospital Summary: Provides support for the Hospital's Human Capital System business applications and systems administration. The HR Business Analyst is a solution provider responsible for determining the business requirements and translating them into the Workday system specification by streamlining the business process.
The HR Business Analyst will focus on support, configuration, and maintenance of Workday. Core modules include HR/Payroll, Recruitment, Benefits, Compensation, and Performance Management. The role will partner and collaborate with HR functional areas to understand business processes and identify opportunities to drive efficiencies through technology solutions, including identifying business requirements, designing processes, testing, and maintaining quality HR solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert in managing and maintaining systems solutions that support the HR function including data maintenance and reporting needs and support overall organization and department operational goals. Provide technical support and serve as a subject matter expert to educate system end users on Workday functionality and ensure end users leverage Workday to the fullest capabilities. Analyze and document current HR processes and systems. Identify opportunities for process and system improvements. Drive innovation and process improvement to support long term human resources business goals. Develop and maintain reports to support analytical and business needs. Maintain all HR systems ongoing including upgrades, enhancements, and timely, effective day-to-day user support for all HR applications and tools, including complex troubleshooting and problem resolution. Train HR staff on new processes and systems. Monitor effectiveness of new processes and systems. Required Skills Proven work experience as a HR Business Analyst or similar role. Experience in HR processes and HRIS. Ability to analyze processes and data. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of HR regulations and best practices. Proficiency in MS Office and HR software. Educational Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or relevant field. Preferred Requirements Experience with HCM Workday.
