HR Coordinator (Bilingual: English & Spanish) Location: Buena Park, CA Overview: The HR Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department in all aspects of human resources management. You will assist with onboarding processes, maintain employee records, manage HR documents, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Responsibilities: Opens/distributes mail Register with each State unemployment notices/disability requests Manager HR Inbox, emails, responding to HR emails received. Manage Calendar invites – HR Alignment calls. Manage job description templates, links, Skilled training matrix Manages employee badges Send out Zero hours reports to all RHMR's. Employee Records and Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS (Human Resource Information System) database. Update and organize personnel files, including employment contracts, performance evaluations, and other HR documents. Process employee changes, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations. Benefits Administration: Assist employees with inquiries regarding benefits eligibility, enrollment, and changes. Collaborate with benefits providers and ensure accurate administration of employee benefits programs. Assist in conducting benefits orientations and annual open enrollment processes. HR Policies and Compliance: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions. Payroll Support: Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll. Verify payroll information, including bonuses, commissions, and deductions. Address payroll-related inquiries from employees. HR Reporting and Analysis: Prepare HR reports and metrics for management as needed. Analyze HR data and trends to identify areas for improvement. Employee Relations and Support: Assist employees with HR-related inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures. Support employee engagement initiatives and events. Qualifications: Fluency in both English & Spanish. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong initiative and making suggestions for improving processes. Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
