Position Purpose: As the Human Resources Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to provide comprehensive support to management in the realm of benefits administration, new hire onboarding and orientation coordination, maintaining detailed and accurate records of all organization related individuals and various clerical duties. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of various HR functions, contributing directly to the enhancement of organizational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Essential Functions: Managing the end-to-end process of employee benefits administration, including enrollment, claims processing, and communication with benefit providers.Providing vital administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining personnel records, processing documentation, and managing correspondence.Contributing to the design and implementation of engaging and informative orientation programs for new hires.Acting as the point of contact for employees to respond to inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and procedures in a timely and professional manner.Ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.Job Qualifications/Experience/Skills: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.Must be able to type 35 words per minute.Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written.Must have knowledge of local and federal employment laws and regulations.Prior experience in HR coordination or administration, with a focus on benefits administration and program development preferred.Proficient in HRIS and other programs like MS Office Suite, PowerPoint, etc.Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting/standing at a desk working on a computer.Must be able to lift and carry up to 25lbs at a time.The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by an employee in this classification.
