Job Summary:
Provides support and assistance to customers of the human resources department as an HR professional by performing various administrative duties and is the first point of contact for the HR needs of hospital associates.
Assists in maintaining hospital badge and door access system, responds to employment verification and other requests as needed and provides general employee assistance.
Directs associates to the most appropriate method to obtain information relative to payroll, benefits, recruitment, retirement etc.
Provides administrative HR support, including preparing presentations, generating monthly and ad hocreports, sending associate communications and other projects as needed.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred Three years' relevant experience: Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification: Preferred Essential Functions: Welcomes and assists visitors to the department using outstanding verbal and interpersonal communication skills as the point of first contact with HR.
Uses excellent administrative, IT and multi-tasking skills to be responsive to phones and visitors while distributing badges and necessary paperwork.
Serves as liaison with HR Operations teams in payroll, employee relations, compensation, contact center and talent acquisition, etc.
using excellent problem- solving skills in order to triage questions and resolve day to day employee issues providing excellent customer service.
Assists with the maintaining employee records and in gathering information needed for various requested reports.
Assists with scheduling appointments, new hire orientation, contractor compliance.
Compiles general orientation, benefits and new hire and other packets.
Assists leadership in achieving higher participation percentages in system and market initiatives - internal and external surveys.
Assists with employee engagement activities and participates in HR compliance validation.
Handles logistics for employee meetings, trainings, etc., including room reservations and technology set-up.
Assists with special projects within Human Resources.
Keeps apprised and up to date on new regulations, policies & procedures.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
