Position Summary: Under the direction of the SVP of People Operations, the HR Generalist is expected to lead recruitment and employee relations, and support training, onboarding, benefits, and payroll. You'll collaborate with managers and community partners to foster a supportive workplace. This position will have a high level of involvement with managers and various agencies. Most importantly, the HR Generalist supports the mission and vision of the Zufall Health Center.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute recruitment plans for employees and volunteersInterview and evaluate applicants, ensuring a great fit for our teamManage the applicant tracking system and analyze recruitment metricsOversee employee orientation and training sessionsCommunicate HR policies, compensation, and benefitsParticipate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigationsMaintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment lawPerform other duties as assigned to support the function of the human resources departmentQualifications: Bachelor's degree in HR or related field2+ years of HR experience; nonprofit experience is a plusSHRM-CP or PHR preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsWhy Join Us?
