Our team at StevenDouglas is looking for a Human Resources Generalist in the Miami area to support the HR team of our client. In this role you will supporting the employee base while working on several initiatives including employee development, employee relations, performance management and employee engagement. Responsibilities: Oversee Human Resources initiatives and activities as it relates to employee relations, compensation, talent management, training and succession planning Provide coaching for employees' professional development and career planning Support communication and implementation of Human Resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and employment regulations Manage employee relation issues through confidential conflict resolution Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation, including family and medical leave policies Interface with employees to serve as a resource for information and create a trusting, open environment Requirements: 2+ years of Human Resources experience Bachelor's degree preferred Ability to work through complex employment issues, partnering with stakeholders and employment counsel as needed Approach problem-solving in collaborative manner, enlisting relevant stakeholders and HR team members Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative, multi-task and manage projects through to completion Superior conflict management and mediation skills Skills: Ability to define, develop and execute HR initiatives based on the needs of the business to drive functional excellence and process improvement Expert knowledge of human resources programs and understanding of applicable laws and regulations Excellent coaching and conflict resolution skills Demonstrated record of success providing support in high-intensity, team-based environments Must have strong initiative and sound judgement, with the ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and diplomacy through complex situations
