Job Description SummaryThe Human Resources Manager for Evendale Manufacturing Operations will provide support to hourly, unionized employees and their leadership teams; serve as the first point of contact for people leaders and employees to provide counsel, coaching and support on HR fundamentals and employee related questions. The HRM will also execute our key HR initiatives, providing available and responsive internal employee support, and drive HR functional process improvement.Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities:"Walk the floor" and be available for employee & manager needsEstablish productive working relationships with union leadership within the siteProvide dedicated guidance and coaching to multiple managers and employees with specific focus on: Employee advocacy/engagement, HR fundamentals and process training, union relations management, performance management, career development, talent assessment, acquisition and retention and workplace investigationsEnsure that all employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolvedProvide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environmentLead key HR processes including compensation, talent management, HR MORConduct HR training and support for functional processes like PPG, Salary Planning, New Employee Orientation and New Manager AssimilationMaintain and protect confidential data with utmost scrutiny, judgment, and careLead site-wide HR projects on the Evendale campusQualifications/Requirements:Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 8 years of experience in Human Resource domains)4+ years experience in HR related disciplines such as recruiting, training, performance management, cultural transformation, HR operations, and compensationAbility to work, on occasion, a varied schedule to be available for employees on off-shiftsDesired Characteristics:Passionate, employee advocate who wants to make a difference in the organization by helping employees succeed and enjoys employee facing workApproachable and responsive resource able to connect with employees at all levels with a strong customer service focusClear thinking / problem solving: successfully led cross functional projects / process improvement, strong analytical skillsConfidence / Assertiveness: strong influencing skills across functions; confidence to approach employees and managers with difficult messages and defend position; equally, confidence to advocate strongly for employeesSupportive team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment; ability to diffuse a tense situationApplies solid judgment ensuring integrity, compliance, & confidentiality?Experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience in a union environmentPHR/SPHR certificationThis role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
