A national food production company is seeking an onsite Human Resources Manager to support the HR initiatives for their facility in Columbia, SC. Responsibilities include partnering with company leadership to develop and implement HR Strategies that promote employee satisfaction and a high-performance culture.
RESPONSIBILITIES Act as the main driving force in the development and implementation of HR strategy to align with company goals and business culture Develop and implement programs to improve employee satisfaction and increase retention Effectively oversee employee relations cases by conducting thorough investigations and administering a sound resolution that minimizes company exposure administration of policy as it relates to state and federal guidelines Advise and coach operations management and how to resolve employee relations issues and performance management Development and execute talent development opportunities for employees to ensure a succession plan that supports company growth Utilize reporting tools to acquire and analyze metrics to support data driven decision-making Collaborate with the Legal Dept. to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 7 years of relevant human resources experience in a manufacturing environment Thorough knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to Human Resources Strong understanding of change-management principles, methodologies, and best practices Ability to travel to other locations 10% of the time. Must have strong analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with team-members at all levels of an organization Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field Position includes generous compensation and benefits package.
