HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER (Permanent) Our client an established manufacturing company with their US headquarters in WNY is looking to hire a Human Resources Manager to join their team. This position will play a key role in the development and implementation of policies on a local and global level.
Responsibilities: Responsible for all Human Resources for roughly 200 U.S. employees (approx. 150 local) Provide handson management of HR functions remaining actively involved and mentoring team members when possible Oversee fullcycle recruitment activity for exempt and nonexempt employees throughout all departments of the organization Perform frequent research of the market to gain new perspective and understand nuances Develop and implement a successful onboarding program ensuring new hires are provided informative orientation and set up for training Work with insurance carriers for benefits programs; administer benefits for employees Work with local law firm to handle Visa processes ExPat packages and foreign visitor invitation letters Manage employee relations ensuring issues are handled appropriately legally and in accordance to company guidelines Maintain thorough understanding of HR regulations and Labor Laws to ensure compliance Manage leaves of absences disabilities medical/family leave NYS PFL and worker s comp assisting with claim issues when necessary Participate in global leadership meetings taking ownership of US Human Resources procedures and provide educated suggestions for improvements Manage and implement/rollout Global HR projects initiatives processes systems etc. Work closely with other managers to ensure qualified candidates are being hired teams are working efficiently and employee relations remain positive participating in employee reviews Organize company social events such as the holiday party summer BBQs etc. Other duties as assigned Details: Position is full time direct hire 4550 hours/week Position is 100% inoffice MF with a flexible start time (i.e. 8:00am / 8:30am) and some additional flexibility as needed $100000 $125000 annually depending on experience manager bonus (up to 10%) Great benefits including Dental Health 401k 34 weeks PTO holidays etc. 5 years Human Resources Management experience Bachelor s Degree required Human Resources concentration preferred Strong computer system aptitude including Excel and HRIS system; ADP & Hubbub preferred Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Excellent interpersonal skills Professional Detail oriented and accurate Maintain a high level of confidentiality Strong computer skills Ability to multitask and prioritize; good time management skills Relocation not available Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available All employees and applicants please know that you have access at all times to New York State and Federal Labor Laws and Posters at the Government Agency websites: ;
