Morrow-Meadows is seeking a full-time Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR operations, focusing on employee relations, policy implementation, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of Human Resource experience, with a preference for experience in the construction industry and union environments. This role requires a solid understanding of HR policies, employee claims management, and multi-state regulations, with a preference for candidates holding HR certifications. This position will be based onsite in the company's City of Industry office, with occasional travel required to branch offices. Responsibilities: Manage daily HR operations, including the implementation and maintenance of HR policies and procedures. Assist in maintaining and updating the office employee handbook, including policies such as vehicle, computer, cell phone use, confidentiality, and drug-free workplace. Run monthly and quarterly reports and analyze data sets as needed. Oversee new hire orientation and onboarding. Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and managing employee relations issues. Develop and promote programs that enhance employee satisfaction and retention. Handle employee relations issues, including investigations into harassment, discrimination, and other workplace complaints. Work with employees and managers to resolve conflicts and ensure a positive work environment. Maintain records of employee claims and ensure timely resolution. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, particularly in wage and hour regulations, leave policies, and employee classifications. Manage employee data and ensure confidentiality and accuracy of records. Oversee wage and hour compliance, manage leave and time-off policies, and ensure proper classification of employees. Utilize HR-related software and tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams for efficient record-keeping and communication. Provide support in benefits administration as needed. Collaborate with leadership to support organizational goals and initiatives. Requirements: 5+ years of experience as a Human Resources Leader, preferably in the construction industry. Knowledge of multi-state regulatory requirements, including wage and hour laws and employee classifications. Experience handling employee relations and claims management, including investigations. Strong administrative skills and experience managing HR documentation and processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams). Experience with union environments and collective bargaining agreements is preferred. Human Resources certification (SHRM-CP) or comparable certifications is preferred. Experience in benefits administration is preferred. Construction industry experience is preferred. The salary range for this position is: $90,000 to $150,000. Compensation offered may vary based on work location, experience, qualifications, specialty, training, and market and business considerations, among other factors.
