The H uman Resources Department has an opening for a Human Resources Officer in t he HR Oper a tions Division, Talent team . Under the general supervision of the Division Chief/Deputy Division Chief/Section Chief, the selected candidate will be part of a team that manage s HQ recruitment operations across the Fund .
Main areas of accountability and/or co-accountability include but are not limited to:
Oversee ing external talent acquisition and internal staffing at the international level and for a broader range of job families .
Provid ing guidance to hiring managers and Client Services partners ( departmental HR teams ) on recruitment matters to ensure activities align with departmental and institutional needs.
Coordinat ing with Client Services partners on different recruitment activities throughout the recruitment life cycle (i.e., posting, screening, salary determination, offers, etc.) in line with IMF policies and practices.
Ensur ing smooth delivery of Talent operations working together with the respective HR Talent A nalys t . Deliver strong customer service, gauging stakeholder needs and preferences to adapt approach to specific needs and promote effective issue resolution. Managing and mitigating recruitment risks.
Respond ing to standard recruitment policy and procedure inquiries from client departments and candidates. A ssist with issue resolution , including escalation management and support .
A ctive ly enga g ing with the Talent and Total Rewards Center s of Expertise (COE s ), facilitating two-way knowledge transfer and helping to ensure alignment between operations and talent management polic ies and program s .
Contribut ing to the design, implementation, and monitoring of recruitment policies and procedures , constantly reviewing for simplification opp ortunities and an enhanced recruitment experience .
Staying abreast of recruitment trends , challenges, and opportunities .
P articipat ing in divisional /departmental ad-hoc projects as needed .
Qualifications:
The successful candidate s should meet the following qualifications and competencies:
A Master 's degree in Human Resources or a related field . Alternatively , a Bachelor's degree plus six years of relevant professional experience .
Experience in recruitment roles and b road knowledge of HR programs and operations - particularly recruitment policies and procedures .
Ability to use tact, sound judgment, and utmost discretion in handling confidential and sensitive matters.
