Join our team as a Human Resources Specialist and play a vital role in supporting our organization's most valuable asset - our people. In this fully remote position, you'll be the primary point of contact for all HR functions, ensuring a seamless employee experience from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage the full-cycle payroll process, including collecting timesheets, processing multi-state payroll, and ensuring accurate records and compliance.
- Maintain and update HR databases, employee records, and documentation related to benefits, leaves, and time off.
- Assist in the recruitment process by collaborating with hiring managers, posting job ads, and processing resumes.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, training seminars, and employee orientations, ensuring a warm welcome and clear understanding of company policies.
- Handle employee inquiries, requests, and HR-related projects with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and communications to keep the organization informed and engaged.
- Provide exceptional support to employees and stakeholders on payroll-related matters.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Marketing, to assist with event planning and other initiatives as needed.
**Qualifications:**
- 3+ years of full-cycle payroll processing experience, with a strong understanding of payroll best practices, regulations, and organizational procedures.
- Hands-on experience with HR software (HRIS or HRMS) and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for clear and friendly communication.
- Experience working with commissions and payouts is a plus.
- An Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.
- Teamwork skills and a commitment to professionalism and confidentiality.
**Working Conditions:**
- This is a fully remote position, with the ability to accommodate multiple time zones (primarily Eastern Time).
- Requires a dedicated workspace, high-speed internet, and proficiency in video conferencing, email, and chat communication.
- Physical demands include maintaining a stationary position for up to 50% of the workday, operating a computer and productivity equipment, and occasional light lifting (up to 10 lbs).
