Aerotek is hiring immediately for a HVAC /refrigeration technician . This position is a direct hire offering full benefits!
Description: The refrigeration technician is responsible for performing maintenance and repair on industrial refrigeration, boiler, and compressed air equipment. The technician is responsible for calibration, repairs, and rebuilds of equipment in the plant equipment and machinery. The technician must have all required personal tools, and have the ability to use industrial shop equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications: - Refrigeration/ HVAC Certifications ( RETA / EPA preferred)
- Ability to utilize instruments such as micrometers, dial gauges, calipers
- 3-5+ years in ammonia/freon refrigeration & boiler maintenance
- Read and interpret industrial equipment manuals
- Ability to work in refrigerated work environment, climb ladders, lift 50-100lbs, work on feet for duration of shift
