Work Schedule: Monday - Friday with the ability to work rotating on-call shifts

Responsibilities: Clean, diagnose, adjust, and repair HVAC systems and accessories Identify and assess maintenance risks on equipment Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems Perform cleaning, adjustment, and repair tasks, including warranty services Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency repair requests Provide technical direction and on-the-job training when needed Maintain daily logs and records of all maintenance functions Ensure compliance with appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act Adhere to service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements Assist customers with questions and guide the best equipment to meet their needs Properly document all work performed, findings, and recommendations in invoices submitted to customers Requirements: 1+ year experience as an HVAC technician, with a willingness to continue education in the HVAC field Valid driver's license and insurable driving record EPA Universal, or the ability to receive within 30 days of employment Understanding of principles of heat transfer and airflow Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills Proficient in reading schematics and work plans Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and to work in confined spaces experienced service technician, service tech, journeyman technician, hvac service, ac, duct, boiler, service hvac jobs
