Responsibilities
• Prepare and install HVAC test units in the test facility• Set up test facilities and connect data acquisition instruments• Analyze test data and make modifications to the test unit• Utilize computer software programs to conduct testing• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean work area• Other duties as required
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent and HVAC vocational training• Minimum of two years HVAC related work/education experience• Thorough understanding of the refrigeration cycle• Demonstrated working knowledge in areas such as reading wiring diagrams, instrumentation, etc.• Ability to braze using Oxy/Acetylene torch• Ability to analyze data and make decisions based on analysis• Ability to lift equipment up to 50lbs• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC systems• Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs• Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift
