.Company Description**Job Description**:This position is of high visibility and key to the succession plans of the business. The Quality Engineer, working within the company BusinessManagement System, supports Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering and the Quality Group (QA Lab and Document Control)in their efforts to meet or exceed our customers' expectations and ensures that quality levels are maintained, while minimizing costs and maximizingproductivity.- Coordinate quality matters related to customer quality such as product complaint, customer claim (with Finance), 8D report evaluation andsubmission, follow-up to assess the effectiveness of corrective actions and preventive actions. Leads problem solving and continuousimprovement projects- Provide internal production quality support related to issue resolution, product quality/risk assessment and product disposition- Provide plant quality support and representation in new product development, specification reviews and approvals, scale up, designtransfer, and facility validation activities, and the establishment and maintenance of quality control standards- Working cross-functionally, maintain Process Flow Diagrams, Process FMEAs, and Control Plans- Provide assistance in the QA lab to perform product measuring and testing if required- Ability to work across functional boundaries and interface with these business disciplines in a significant manner - laboratory,manufacturing, engineering, sales, and marketing functions as needed to carry out assignments- Provide training in areas of responsibility or expertise, as required- Conducts quality audits for products, processes, and if required suppliers- Develop systemic improvements to the plant quality system- Provide input into the development and maintenance of the Site Business(Quality) Management SystemIATF & Intergraded Management System (IMS) Responsibility:Implement IATF certification; Maintenance control anddevelopment of the system along with our current ISOcertifications.As member of the top management team for the IMS, fulfill the following duties with a specific focus on IMSPerformance, Organizational Content, Leadership, Planning and Improvement, Operations, Administrative and EHS, as wellas general focus on Organizational Content, Leadership, Planning and Improvement,- Ensure IMS responsibilities and authorities for each role under their charge are assigned, understood, and communicated.- Ensure processes are efficient and effectiveness- Ensuring the integrity of the system during IMS changes
