n *Job Summary: *Bladder & Bowel Institute is in search of a compassionate and proactive Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) to join our dedicated team. This role is not a typical APN role, but a unique hybrid position that combines in-person patient support 2 ½ days per week with remote/work from home telemedicine and post-operative follow up during the remaining 2 ½ days. This position is integral to ensuring patients receive exceptional care and navigation during the InterStim trial period and allows BBI to maintain strong, supportive relationships with our patients throughout their healthcare journey.*Key Responsibilities:**Patient Interaction and Support*· Act as the primary point of contact for all InterStim trial patients, promptly resolving questions and concerns via phone, text, or email, while ensuring every interaction is meaningful and memorable.· Provide phone and in-clinic support, with a willingness to meet a patient after hours if necessary.· Maintain a warm, open, and supportive presence during all patient interactions, fostering a welcoming atmosphere and actively working to retain our patient base.· Act as a knowledgeable resource for all patient inquiries, swiftly answering both clinical and non-clinical questions, and guiding patients to the appropriate resources within BBI.· Consistently provide high-quality service to potential patients via telemedicine consultations.*Patient Education and Guidance*· Educate and assist patients with any necessary adjustments to their therapy, serving as a liaison between the patients and their treatment.· Educate patients and/or their family members on available therapies, medications, nutrition, and overall health and wellness maintenance.*Coordination and Collaboration*· Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and manage patient care.· Cultivate positive working relationships with patients, their families, care teams, and fellow team members at BBI.· Provide patient feedback and recommendations for program and process improvement to BBI management.*Administrative Duties and Compliance*· Maintain a comprehensive method of tracking patient success and progress in their therapy.· Document all patient interactions with diligence, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and patient protection regulations (HIPAA).· Conduct data entry tasks, maintain accurate patient records, and handle medication and health-related information with care, adhering strictly to all organizational information security and privacy policies.· Establish and enforce organizational standards to maintain service quality.*Knowledge and Development*· Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of all therapies and services offered by BBI.*Other Duties*· Perform additional duties as assigned by BBI management.*Qualifications:*· Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner with an active Arkansas license.· 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in a specialized field such as urology, obstetrics and gynecology, or internal medicine, preferred.· Operating room experience preferred.· Demonstrate a strong patient-focused mentality, constantly striving to exceed expectations and build effective relationships.· Be approachable and empathetic, dedicated to understanding patient needs before acting, and adept at establishing rapport.· Exhibit excellent prioritization and time management skills, capable of multitasking and shifting focus seamlessly between various tasks.· Be eager to learn and adapt, with a relentless drive to find solutions to new and existing challenges.· Be action-oriented, ready to take on challenges, and consistently delivering timely results· Be composed and flexible, thriving in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.· Possess basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with standard office equipment and phone systems.· Have exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills.If you are self-motivated with a passion for healthcare education, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients struggling with bladder and bowel control problems.Job Type: Full-timePay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Flexible schedule* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceMedical Specialty:* SurgeryExperience:* clinical: 3 years (Required)License/Certification:* Licensed Nurse Practitioner (Required)Ability to Commute:* Harrison, AR 72601 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Harrison, AR 72601: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: Hybrid remote in Harrison, AR 72601
