Import Compliance Coordinator
Apply advanced knowledge of regulations and requirements to support business requirements.
Establish and maintain localized export procedures and ensure local business awareness and compliance with these requirements.
Provide regional subject matter expertise on Schedule B interpretation and designation, export licensing, documentation, and reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities: Trouble shooting of issues in Freight Forwarding Software (CargoWise1) related to data exchange with regulatory agencies Keep current with regulatory requirements and changes; update and train staff Monitor operational activities and perform periodic audits to ensure regulatory compliance Maintain good standing with government agencies Research of data records to ensure information is correct Correspondence with various offices to clarify accuracy of information On board new accounts for brokerage with sales team and branches Classification of merchandise for US Customs and Participating Government Agencies Maintain import organization customers product master file Respond to all CF-29 (Notice of Actions) , CF-28 (Request for Information), Informed Compliances and any other post entries inquiries from CBP within the required time frame and maintain all records in accordance CBP Rules and Regulations Apply advanced knowledge of regulations and requirements to support business requirements.

Strong planning and organizational skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Ability to work autonomously Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities Ability to read, understand, and interpret legal and regulatory documents Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree or at least 5+ years of import and brokerage compliance US Licensed Customs Broker preferred 5+ years of working Knowledge of CBP and related Government importing and Customs regulations.
5+ years of experience in international supply chain environment Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 Per Year
