MGBMG provides a wide range of offerings, including primary care, behavioral and mental health, specialty care, outpatient surgery, endoscopy, imaging, lab services, infusion, and urgent care both digitally and in person in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Location: Hybrid (Monthly meetings at Mass General Brigham Headquarters, Assembly Row, Somerville, MA, and regional travel as needed)
Position Summary:
Are you passionate about driving meaningful change and enhancing healthcare processes?
Join us as an Improvement Specialist under the supervision of the Director of Performance and Patient Access.
You'll play a pivotal role in implementing Lean methodologies across our organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and collaborating with providers, staff, and senior leadership to achieve impactful results.
Key Responsibilities: Facilitate Lean improvement initiatives and conduct baseline assessments (5S achievement, education, etc.).
Organize and support improvement events like Rapid Process Improvement Workshops and Kaizen Events.
Educate and train staff at all levels on Lean principles and methodologies.
Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities for process improvements, implement changes, and report outcomes to senior leadership.
Facilitate teams, manage meetings, and help guide stakeholders through change management processes.
Represent Mass General Brigham by participating in committees, offering expertise in Lean practices, and coaching teams to success.
Qualifications Qualifications: Required: High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of healthcare experience.
Bachelors Degree preferred.
Must have demonstrated leadership, facilitation, and team-building skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other relevant software.
