Your Responsibilities

As an In-Circuit Test Engineerfor John Deere ISG located in Fargo, ND,you will design test fixtures used to test printed circuit board subassemblies in a manufacturing environment. In addition, you will:

Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deadlines as well as provide feedback to design teams to improve the design for testability. 
Compile all information required to submit a fixture quote and work with the vendor to find solutions for any concerns.
Debug the fixture for the test program to allow for proper amounts of component variation.

What Skills You Need

1 or more years technical expertise in using and understanding schematics.
1 or more years' experience with debugging tools (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, etc).
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience in programming languages such as Python, C, or similar for Automatic Test Equipment (ATE).
Experience in statistical analysis.

What Makes You Stand Out

Proven experience in in-circuit testing and test program development.
Experience with Teradyne programming language. 
Experience with J-tag programming methods. 
Familiarity with circuit design and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with test engineering in a manufacturing environment.

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent related work experience.
