Position Summary: The Inclusion Specialist is responsible for the implementation and evaluation of the "I AM IN" (Inclusion: All Members Included Now) Inclusion Initiative within the Club.
The Inclusion Specialist will ensure members with disabilities are appropriately supported in their inclusion at the Club and will work with staff, parents and members to create a culture of acceptance around disability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Work with all staff in the process of implementing the Inclusion Initiative and bring the necessary resources together to support Club members with disabilities
· Provide direct individual support to youth with disabilities ranging from moderate to severe
· Provide group programming to youth with and without disabilities
· Facilitate inclusion of youth with disabilities in Club programming
· Direct, train and support junior staff
· Orient, train and supervise department staff as assigned.
· Provide annual performance evaluations for applicable staff in a timely manner.
· Be a resource to parents and staff
· Record and track support that members receive and progress made
· Develop expertise in a wide range of disabilities
· Communicate with Club staff about members who require extra support, as needed
· Developing and implementing programming to increase awareness about inclusion or to facilitate the development of social networks for Club members with disabilities
· Coordinate partnerships with local organizations and consultants who can support the Inclusion Initiative
· Assessing our impact is critical to our work.
All staff is expected to participate in various evaluation efforts throughout each program year, including the annual member survey.

Position Requirements: · BA/BS in Education or related field preferred.
· Direct experience developing and delivering programs for youth with disabilities; experience in out-of-school-time settings preferred.
· Knowledge of trends in inclusion programming and training.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
· MS Office and web competency preferred.
· Ability to work with youth and families from a variety of backgrounds.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Flexibility to work clubhouse hours, especially as seasons and service needs change.
· Valid driver's license preferred.
