Parker Loss Consultants is a national provider of specialty claims management services, including Commercial Property, Commercial Liability and Personal lines of business. Our focus is on each client's trust in our ability to pro-actively manage their Large / Complex assignments. We maintain a consistent approach in managing adjuster caseloads to avoid overlooked opportunities and costly mistakes.

The Field Adjuster is responsible for investigating both residential and commercial property claims consisting of, but not limited to the following: evaluating damages, determining coverage, setting accurate loss reserve estimates, control the insured's exposures and losses, and managing contractors such as mitigation vendors and other vendors to achieve a prompt, fair and equitable settlement according to fair claims handling requirements. This key business role may occur in either daily claims handling, during times of catastrophic events ("CAT"), or both.

What you'll be doing:
Conducts a prompt and thorough review of each loss including extent of stated damage, applicable policy(s), and any extenuating circumstances.Conducts on-site review of loss locations to determine facts relative to damages, exposure, etc.May manage and interface with 3rd party vendors, such as mitigation companies, when needed to help determine facts, damages, and exposure. Reviews and monitors costs to help ensure they are both reasonable and necessary.Immediately following review of loss location(s), sets costs estimates and reserves for each claimCreates independent estimate for loss/damage repProvides regular updates on the claim statues to various internal and external stakeholdersConsistently meets requirements of turnaround times established between PLC and the insurance companyEffectively negotiates the settlement of claims of varying perils and complexities What you'll bring:
