Independent Petcare National Key Accounts LeadLocation: US Remote
We are seeking a highly capable individual for National Strategic Growth Contracts Lead. Primary responsibilities include utilizing large account management skills, solution selling, project and territory management, and business planning capabilities to execute our strategies to maximize sales performance within the assigned Strategic Growth Accounts. This is a field based/remote position. Travel comprising of up to 60% and some evening and weekend work for educational programs is a requirement of the position. The position is salary + Annual bonus based.

This position relies on an individual capable of operating in a highly matrixed internal and external environment with demonstrated skills in managing corporate accounts with complex operating structures.
Duties and Responsibilities:Sales PerformanceMaximize ZTS revenues against strategic growth contractsMeet aggregate sales objectives both overall and for key growth products via demand generation within aligned customersSuccessfully implement and execute joint partnership programs to exceed contractual goals in conjunction with the aligned Independent Petcare sales teamsSuccessfully launch new products and service offeringsSelling Skills, Technical Knowledge, and Customer Value DeliveryDemonstrate high levels of collaboration, communication with the Independent Petcare sales teamsDemonstrate the ability to move seamlessly between technical product expertise and business development discussions; this includes consistently demonstrate Solution Selling skills.Build effective relationships with partner/customer teams to ensure/maintain relevance and access within each account.Interact with customers following all Zoetis contract guidelinesBusiness Planning, Resource Allocation and OptimizationUtilize our Customer Relationship Management system to identify and work against account growth opportunities.Lead from the front with innovative programs to drive revenue and shareParticipate in quarterly business reviews with each aligned account to routinely adjust the strategies, tactics, and investments based on changing needs to maximize account performance.Demonstrate excellent project management and financial/analytical skillsDevelop and utilize tracking tools to ensure ROI on investmentsEnsure accurate revenue forecastsProfessional DevelopmentSuccessfully complete Individual Development PlanExhibit willingness to accept and incorporate coachingRequired Experience and SkillsSuccessful demonstration of strategic account management skillsSuccess in previous sales roles including creatively finding opportunities or solving problems to drive sales performance.Strong communication skills (verbal, written, speaking/presentation, interpersonal).Strong project management skillsAbility to work in a cross-functional team-based environment, align with and influence internal and external stakeholders, and build/manage relationships at all levels of an organization.Adept at working in highly fluid, complex, and ever-changing environments.Uses analytics and insights to enhance decision-making and tactical execution.Follow-through and attention to detail.Ability to manage assigned expense budgetsMinimum QualificationsUndergraduate degree (BS/BA) preferred3 – 5 years of successful key account management experience preferred7-10 years of sales experience, at least 3 years managing strategic or national/major accountsTrack record of successful professional performance – in sales and/or strategic account management.Animal health experience and knowledge of companion animal veterinary medicine preferredAbility and willingness to travel extensively and work some weekends as required by the position.Proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce.com, Tableau applicationsThe following base pay range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to be located in Colorado. Base pay may vary based on location and other factors.
Base Pay Range: $167,000-195,000
The following base pay range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to be located in California, NJ Remote, NY Remote, or Washington. Base pay may vary based on location and other factors.
Base Pay Range: $188,000-220,000
This position is eligible for short-term incentive compensation. The position is also eligible for long-term incentive.
