Industrial Electrician Job Description -Analyzes electro/mechanical problems of dairy processing and packaging equipment, and auxiliary equipment.
-Works with current Controls Specialist and Mechanics in monitoring and troubleshooting of automated equipment, VFDs, HMIs and PLCs.
-Troubleshoots plant and utility equipment making all necessary repairs.
-Assist machine operators in determining when the machine should be shut down due to mechanical or electrical problems.
-Perform established preventative maintenance procedures on plant equipment and completes appropriate paperwork.
-Ability to install, maintain and troubleshoot distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakers and disconnects.
-Ability to read complex electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
-Proficient in diagnosing and testing motors & motor control circuits.
-Plan and oversee testing and calibration of electrical and electronic equipment.
-Ability to use electrical testing equipment to assist with troubleshooting equipment.
-Knowledge of National Electric Code.
