Overview: We are looking for an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team dedicated to the development of autonomous surface vessels. \n Responsibilities:Design and Optimization: Lead the design and optimization of systems and processes related to autonomous robotic vessels, ensuring maximum efficiency and performance. Factory Layout: Own the production floor layout. Design facilities to optimize manufacturing capability. Project manage facility changes and equipment installation. Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and R&D, to align project goals and implement effective solutions. Process Improvement: Analyze existing workflows and production processes, identifying areas for improvement to enhance operational efficiency and reliability. Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process maps, standard operating procedures, and performance metrics. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory standards and industry best practices throughout the development and operational processes. Data Analysis:Utilize data analytics and modeling techniques to evaluate system performance and inform decision-making. Problem Solving: Address complex engineering challenges with innovative solutions, utilizing a systematic approach to troubleshooting and process enhancement. Project Management: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, managing resources and timelines to achieve successful outcomes. Technology Assessment: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating new methodologies to improve product capabilities and processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in industrial engineering, preferably within the robotics, maritime, or technology sectors. Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, methodologies, and tools, with a focus on process optimization. History of facility layout and design. Designing facilities from scratch is a plus. Proficiency in data analysis and simulation software (e.g., Simul8, Arena, SQL, Power BI). Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively in fast-paced environments. Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated project management experience, with a track record of successfully leading projects from initiation to completion. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
