Our Packaging Mechanics are core to our success and work hands-on each day to assure that our packaging equipment is running at peak efficiency.
Fluent knowledge of high-speed bagging (VFFS & SUP) and combination scales + the integration of the two systems Extensive knowledge of wire components, electrical and mechanical systems Essential Duties:
Maintain packaging equipment in performance ready operation to meet or exceed operational standards Rapid diagnosis of issues Maintain preventative maintenance schedule Ability to work well under pressure Key Qualifications:
High school diploma or State issued Equivalency 5 or more years as a journeyman/journeywoman packaging mechanic preferred Fluent knowledge of high-speed bagging (VFFS & SUP) and combination scales + the integration of the two systems Extensive knowledge of wire components, electrical and mechanical systems Mechanical aptitude and dexterity Sconza offers above market pay and medical + dental with family coverage.
