The Maintenance Technician II supports the FedEx Ground Industrial Maintenance for material handlingCompletes preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systemsUtilizes prescribed processes as they relate to mechanical power transmission, electrical, PLC/controls, welding/fabrication and other industrial maintenance related systems

Responsibilities
• Provides preventative and predictive maintenance and repair of material handling systems• Demonstrates competency in two or more specialty skills• Troubleshoots and diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems• Adheres to safety standards• Responds to sort calls to diagnose and make repairs• Utilizes Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software to enter and retrieve data• May be involved in smaller scope projects• May be required to work a flexible schedule
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED required• Certificates in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics preferred• Two (2) years experience in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics with competency in at least two specialty skills• Ability to follow procedures and solve basic mechanical or electrical problems• Effective verbal and written communication skills• Software skills, including Microsoft Office suite• Possess time management and organizational skills
