Description: We are looking for a heavy industrial safety manager to lead the safety team onsite. We are a large steel fabrication shop working in tandem with a large GC in the St. Louis area. This is onsite daily in St. Louis overseeing the fabrication shop specifically. Experience tracking recordables and mitigating dangerous situations is required. Assist in planning education and training plans when it comes to safety. Perform investigations around incidence. Maintain a drug-free workplace. Report potential insurance claims. Work directly with the safety director, project managers, and other group leaders to maintain safety organizationally.
