Collect, analyze, and present infection data, offering actionable recommendations. Ensure staff compliance with infection prevention practices and protective measures. Develop and lead educational programs for staff on infection control. Serve as a trusted resource for all departments on infection prevention. Implement programs to safeguard residents, staff, and visitors. Establish policies and procedures to minimize risks and adverse events. Oversee timely reporting of infection-related data to appropriate channels. Maintain compliance with regulations, guidelines, and accreditation standards. What You ll Need Education: Associate s Degree from an accredited School of Nursing. Active Registered Nurse license in Iowa. Experience & Certifications: Prior experience in long-term care (preferred). Current CPR certification. Completion of basic training for Infection Control Certification (desired).
