Job Description:

The primary function of this position is to assist the Director of Nursing Services in development, organization and direction in all aspects of nursing services in compliance with federal/state guidelines, to ensure that residents receive quality/individualized care and services.

Education and Experience Requirements: Graduate of an approved school of nursing and possess a current license as a Registered Nurse.Minimum of two year's experience in a supervisory capacity in a health care setting.Prior experience in staff development and infection control. Duties & Responsibilities: Reviews compliance with established policies and procedures for nursing personnel.Assist with selection and onboarding of new nursing staff and complete competency verification.Assures adequate staffing is maintained and works floor/shift assignments as necessary.Responsible for infection control and staff education.
