Lehigh Valley Health Network's (LVHN) infectious disease program serves an eight-county area in Eastern Pennsylvania with a population of over two million.
The infectious disease team is well established and has 14 physicians and 5 advanced practice clinicians who primarily cover Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH)–Cedar Crest in Allentown and LVH–Muhlenberg in Bethlehem, Pa. Telemedicine consults are provided to other health network locations in Pottsville, Hazleton and East Stroudsburg, PA. LVH–Cedar Crest is a 988-bed teaching hospital and faculty appointments are available through our academic partner.
The infectious disease position is an exciting opportunity to join the team as LVHN stands on the precipice of tremendous growth in transplant medicine.
The division sees patients with a multitude of infections and has a robust antimicrobial stewardship and infection control program.
