Reporting to the Division Director of Infectious Disease, the Specialist will be part of a department with responsibilities that include:
Inpatient consultationsOutpatient consultation including outpatient HIV and Hepatitis C patient treatmentAssist with activities of Infection Prevention and the Hospital Epidemiology programsAssist with Antimicrobial Stewardship programSystem-wide collaboration with over 20 ID physician colleagues that meet monthlyActive Hospitalist program to care for inpatientsShared call with other ID physiciansThe Community: Working in this northwestern Connecticut city offers several geographical advantages that enhance the overall professional experience.
