About the Role
The Influencer & Affiliate Marketing Leader will lead the development and execution of our public relations strategies, influencer collaborations, and affiliate marketing programs across our portfolio companies. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can build and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, and affiliates to drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a talented Influencer & Affiliate Marketing Leader to oversee and elevate our brand positioning efforts across multiple portfolio companies. As the Influencer & Affiliate Marketing Leader, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies for our portfolio companies. This role will involve creating scalable PR (including performance PR), influencer, and affiliate marketing programs that can be tailored to meet the specific needs of each company. You will work closely with the marketing teams of our portfolio companies to ensure cohesive brand messaging, maximize visibility, and drive growth.
Public Relations (PR):
Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies to increase brand visibility, driven revenue with performance PR, and strengthen our portfolio brands public reputation.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and industry influencers.
Write and distribute press releases, pitch stories, and handle media inquiries to ensure positive and consistent media coverage.
Monitor media coverage, manage press clippings, and report on PR performance metrics.
Create and execute influencer marketing campaigns that align with brand goals and target audience.
Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and content creators across various platforms.
Oversee influencer agreements, content creation, and performance tracking to ensure impactful collaborations and ROI.
Analyze and report on influencer campaign effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement.
Assure full FTC and legal compliance.
Develop and manage the affiliate marketing program, including recruitment, onboarding, and nurturing of affiliate partners.
Collaborate with affiliates to create promotional content, offers, and campaigns that drive traffic, conversions, and revenue growth.
Monitor affiliate performance, analyze data, and optimize strategies to maximize results and maintain a high level of partner satisfaction.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve the affiliate program.
Assure full FTC and legal compliance.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in PR, influencer marketing, and affiliate marketing
Self-starter and growth hacker – you like to get into the weeds and execute as well as think big and create blue ocean strategies
Passion for and experience within the CPG industry
Proven track record of successful PR campaigns, influencer partnerships, and affiliate marketing programs.
Strong network of media contacts, influencers, and affiliate partners.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and pitches.
Highly organized with strong project management skills and attention to detail.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
