The Information Systems Support Specialist provides technical support to Transportation FCU in the areas of application management, data management, and other technologies.
The position provides information technology support services to staff and assists in keeping the network computing systems operating efficiently.
Reports To: Information Systems Manager
Classification: Exempt
Key Responsibilities Support Microsoft Windows server operating systems, Microsoft Exchange, DNS and Active Directory, and virtualization platforms.
Provide support for Microsoft Office 365.
Monitor "Service Desk" emails and provide desktop and application support to all Credit Union end-users.
This could include new user setups, line of business application support, and hosted application support.
Produce, maintain, and update technical documentation including Credit Union software and hardware inventory.
Support and administer Azure AD.
Work with vendors to support organizational goals.
Troubleshoot and coordinate problem resolution with vendors, coordinate system and application software updates.
Assist in the development and maintenance of internal standards and controls in accordance with credit union policies and procedures.
Test, install, and document requested programming support.
Ability to work with a diverse population and convey technical information into easy-to-understand concepts Ensure compliance with credit union policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
2 years' experience with supporting workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor-specific hardware/software, Active Directory, Exchange, O365, etc.
in a "Help Desk" environment.
As an alternative to the above experience, be actively engaged or enrolled in college level coursework either working towards a degree in a related technological field or to enhance a degree that is already possessed in a different field.
Experience or education in Network Design, Communications, Information Technology Security concepts, Virtual Servers, and Imaging technologies.
Any technology industry recognized certifications are a plus, such as CompTIA A+, Network +, or Security-CE +.
