Position: IT Asset Manager Location: Denver CO Duration: W2 Contract Day 1 onsite Position Description : Job Description: Years of Exp – 10-12 Years The IT Asset Manager will be responsible for administrative duties within the IT Asset management function. Maintains records and databases containing information regarding budget expenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's assets and services. This role will be responsible for Invoice processing for hardware and shall help minimise the organizational cost through standardization and tracking. Responsibilities Responsible for processing IT Invoices. Responsible for end-to-end purchase process including requisitions, RFQ, comparative analysis, technical specifications, cost estimates, negotiations purchasing, forecasting. Liaises and coordinate with key internal and external stakeholders (Suppliers) to process and manage requisitions of quality products & services timely and cost effectively. Manages finance audit related queries, ( physical asset verification, purchase, and audits ) Track and renew hardware and IT services maintenance agreements and warranties. Solicits and responds to finance any IT invoices related queries. Responsible for timely payments of IT Suppliers and ensure proper documentation of all shipments, commercial invoices. Anticipates and ensure timely submission of IT provisions to finance. Facilitate internal audit on IT assets and services. Maintain the tracker of all IT budget and related expenses with detailed working. To provide support in contract and vendor management. Plays a significant role in IT projects and implementing change control processes. Oversees and reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics. Stays up to date on industry regulations, trends, and technology. Works closely with management team to ensure all operational, administrative, and compliance functions within the firm are being properly executed in accordance with regulatory-based best practices. Identifies savings opportunities for renewals, and services. Technical Experience:- Proven track record of IT inventory management. Excellent in Microsoft Excel and accounting. Problem Solving – Solves problems with the focus on cost reduction in the best interest of WSP. Communication – Ability to express thoughts and ideas to others both orally and in writing. Implementation/Execution: Should be able to organise and managing multiple priorities and/or projects by using appropriate methodologies and tools. Ability to work under pressure and with minimum of supervision. Responsible for Managing the team and its Performance.
