POSITION SUMMARY: The IT Business Analyst will be a crucial member of the IT Project Management Office (PMO), responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions. This role involves working closely with stakeholders across the organization to gather, analyze, and document requirements, and to ensure that IT projects are aligned with business goals. The IT Business Analyst will also support the PMO in project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure successful delivery of IT initiatives. The Business Analyst ensures a competent grasp of business insight and acquires knowledge about the company's functions RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate the analysis and documentation of business and technology requirements to enable Internal and External solution deployments by creating and maintaining detailed documentation including business requirements, project plans, budgeting, functional specifications, process flows, and user stories. Anticipate and understand business expectations and recommend the most appropriate response to complex or ambiguous requirements. Collaborate closely with IT Single Point of Contacts (SPOC), both Internal and External Development teams, and Business Subject Matter Experts to execute interdepartmental projects and ensure delivery is on time and within budget. Familiar with the Software Development Life Cycle and actively participates in every stage of the process. Analyze complex business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and propose IT solutions. Conducts workshops and presentations to present proposals and obtain approval from stakeholders. Facilitates delivery through demonstrations that communicate and confirm the suggested solutions. Capable of working effectively, independently, and seamlessly across both technical and business sectors. Exhibit organization, efficiency, accuracy, and creativity in all work-related tasks. Quickly detect, monitor, document, and resolve challenges. Actively addresses potential risks and obstacles in projects. Effectively convey information to audiences, regardless of their technical expertise. Adept at managing meetings and delivering presentations to Executive management. Travel might be necessary. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree - Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology or Engineering preferred. At least 5 years of experience in a role such as Business Analyst, Process Engineer, or Business Process Analyst with a track record of success. Strong knowledge of business analysis techniques and methodologies (e.g. BABOK, Agile) SKILLS: Should be capable of showing experience in transforming or enhancing a process. Possess superior communication and interpersonal skills, along with the capacity to resolve problems effectively. Proficiency with various Microsoft programs, skilled in analyzing data sets and assessing process flows, complemented by research and design expertise. Exceptional skills in writing and documentation, inclusive of both technical details and business communication. Demonstrated success in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and overseeing third-party solution deployments. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registration · Relevant certifications (e.g. CBAP, PMP, ITIL) are a plus
