Our client is currently seeking an IT Manager for their Las Vegas, Nevada location. This position is on site in Las Vegas. Under the direction of the Director of Corporate Security and IT, the Information Technology (IT) Manager is responsible for overall planning, directing, budgeting, and controlling all Information Technology (IT) functions for the Company, including supporting and maintaining existing infrastructure, applications, and development of new technical solutions. Roles and Responsibilities Direct and oversee computer operations and ensure operational efficiency of systems. Select, train, evaluate, direct, and supervise the work of subordinate personnel. Prepare and administer the IT budget and support contracts. Oversee the development, design, implementation and support of new applications and changes to existing computer systems and software packages. Design, plan, analyze, deploy, test, and support the Company's network infrastructure including servers, firewalls, routers, switches, cellular data connections, VPN connections, and network management software. Assist in the selection, analysis, acquisition, modification, design, and installation of computer application systems. Select, design, deploy, manage, and support hosted (Cloud based) software application solutions. Select, design, deploy, manage, test, and support of VOIP telephone system, analog telephone systems, cellular telephones, and cellular data devices. Provide support to user departments in the operation and processing of on-going business computer applications. Maintain responsibility for user liaison and project control. Provide primary link between user and computer support resources. Supervise the requisitioning of all computer inventory needs, hardware and software packages, and peripheral devices for the Company and provides support to user departments. Maintain responsibility for the development of training programs for user departments. Perform other job duties as assigned. Job Required Knowledge & Skills Strong teamwork and communication skills. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of industry-standard computer hardware and software systems. Experience with network administration (Cisco certification a plus). Experience managing on-premises servers, storage area networks (SAN), and network-attached storage (NAS) devices. Familiarity with a variety of software platforms including Microsoft 365, network monitoring, email filtering, and others. Vendor and contract management. Prepare and monitor budgets. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field At least 3 plus years of experience managing an IT department Experience managing an IT team of Network Administrators, Help desk, Application development, storage and Cloud Experience with Cisco and Security– Certifications would be a plus Experience managing a budget Strong procurement and, vendor management and device management skills
