About the job Information Technology Manager
Essential Job Functions Manage day-to-day operation of hotel computer networks across back office, PMS, and POS Organize and communicate priorities, coordinate hotel technology projects, troubleshoot system issues, and provide direct support of networks, endpoints, and applications.
Maintain desktop, laptop, printers, and peripherals for property team with approximately 100 endpoints Support interfaces between Hilton OnQ PMS, Infogenesis POS, Saflok, Avaya PBX, and Micros 9700 Manage third-party vendor relationships to maintain and resolve problems for hotel systems: voice and data circuits, guest WiFi, PBX, PMS, POS, guest entertainment, and public music systems, security cameras, distributed cellular antenna, and digital signage systems.
Maintain weekly and monthly updates on assigned operational projects, telecom optimization and track technology capital deployment against capital plan.
Effectively manage time and processes to create maximum efficiency with minimum disruption or redundancy.
Timely response to sensitive matters and obtain basic understanding how processes fit in with other departmental or business priorities and objectives.
Adjust quickly to accommodate expected and unexpected changes and gauge progress with respect to overall impact and results.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
Position Requirements Associates degree or equivalent certifications and work experience in information technology; 4+ years of hospitality technology and project management experience is preferred.
Technical and operational experience with PMS and POS systems Basic networking experience; understanding of wireless, switches, routers, DHCP, DNS, and IP protocols preferred Experience PCI compliance related controls is highly desired.
May include local and regional travel.
